08/10/08 - MORE ALBUM TRACKS
You can download another two songs from my new album here for free!
Perfect Moment first saw the light of day as part of my Sergeant Howie's Holy Stamina Test project, but I've re-recorded it for this new album and am much happier with it this time around.
White Light Unknown is another re-record of an older song. It was the first song I ever put out and the original 7" was played by John Peel and given the thumbs up by Jockrock, The List and Radio 1's Scottish Evening Session amongst others.

15/08/08 - JESUS IS FOR LOSERS - NEW ALBUM!!
Jesus is for Losers is my brand new collection of songs. I'm releasing it 1 or 2 tracks at a time over at this mini-site: www.jesusisforlosers.co.ukI've taken my time on this one (nearly 4 years!) and the album features new songs, some re-worked old ones and several cover versions. The album is available as a free download, with the option to donate if you like what you hear. Two songs are available to download now and more will follow over the next few weeks.

06/06/08 - SANDBLASTED IN INVERNESS
Those of you with long memories may remember the first Calamateur release - a 7" single with 2 songs, White Light Unknown and Inhabit, released in 2000. The first two lines of the last verse of Inhabit have been chosen by DUFI, the artists behind the current re-development of Inverness city centre, to be one of 30 stencillised quotes to be sandblasted into the city streets. The stone will be laid later this year.

This is a collection of 4 songs I wrote and recorded in one day in 2005. These tracks were originally put on the website one at a time over a few months in 2006 but they've been off the radar for a while. Today is the official release date of the new Calamateur album - Calamateur vs. Steve Lawson. A collaboration with acclaimed solo-bassist Steve Lawson, and featuring 9 brand new tracks, this download-only album is now available to buy from these two sites:
